Being aware of student climate can be difficult when you are busy teaching, answering questions, giving additional assistance, etc.; however, administering surveys with Google Forms provides insight. A brief check-in every couple of weeks facilitates communication that otherwise might not occur. When students see you taking action based on their responses, they know you care and they matter.
